e36 hand brake light

hi can any one help my bmw e36 328i hand brake light does not come on when i pull my hand brake up but the light comes on and goes off when you turn ignition on

i have the same problem and i still don't know the reason . can anyone help ?

have you checked the switch at the back of the handbrake

I have the same issue, checked the wire connector at the rear of the handle and seems to earth fine. Anyone have a cure yet ???
